Coordinator (P1): FUNDACION UNIVERSIDAD CATOLICA DE VALENCIA SAN VICENTE MARTIR (CATHOLIC UNIVERSITY OF VALENCIA), ES
The Faculty of Physical Activity and Sports Sciences (FCCAFD) of the Catholic University of Valencia is the coordinator of DART project. The Faculty contributes to the SAFD (the Physical Activity and Sports Service) with numerous athletes and users.
The faculty has got 1,020 students in Undergraduate studies and 28 students in Postgraduate studies. The Faculty and Institute for Research in Physical Activity and Sports, have 4 different Research Groups in
different topics (Health and Sport Performance, Physical Education, Outdoor and Sustainable
development) with more than 40 researchers involved.
In the development of its academic activities the FCCAFD has collaboration agreements with different sport clubs and institutions (Valencia CF, Villarreal CF, Levante UD, COLEFCV, …).
Additionally, the Sports Service benefits from the sponsorship of various institutions, among which the Trinidad Alfonso Foundation (FTA) stands out and works within the following networks: CADU (Autonomous University Sports Championship); CEU (Spanish University Championship), CEDU (State Conference of University Defenders) and CSD (Higher Sports Council).
The Physical Activity and Sports Service of the Catholic University of Valencia is in charge of directing, promoting and facilitating the practice of physical and sports activity for all members of the university community, members of the “alumni” association, and specific groups that may be of special interest to the University. This task will be carried out through sportive schools, activities, events, sports integration programs, attention to high-level athletes and sports competitions that will contemplate the perspective of the formative value of physical activity and sport as an extension of culture and as a transmitter of healthy and educational values towards the integral growth of people.
The Sports Service is one of the best structured private university organizations in the Valencian Community with 6,756 registered members, which constitutes 52.88% of the university community based on 12,774 students. Professors and staff.
The Sports Service has a Rugby Section that competes at the federated level and with the participation in14 different team sports and 25 individual sports, all of them in university, regional and national levels of competition.
The main goal of this service is facilitating the development of physical activity and sport as a habit of the users of SAFD through the planning, dissemination and execution of different sports programs that serve its multiple centers of interest, creating a sports culture and a transmission of healthy values and make physical and sports activity, as well as its intrinsic values, reach groups with special educational needs or people at risk of social exclusion as a global tool in the teaching-learning process. In addition, it offers a service to promote university sports through the dual career program (P.A.D.U program, University- Athlete Assistance Program) and the P.A.D.E program (Elite Athlete Assistance Program).
Since 2019, the Catholic University of Valencia and, consequently, the Faculty of Physical Activity and Sports Sciences and the Sports Service, have been part of the "European University" Smart Urban Coastal Sustainability "(EU-CONEXUS)” project, which focuses on improving the quality of higher education in the European Community, as an initiative of the
European 'supercampus' within the Erasmus + mobility program of the European Union.
P2- MAINDROS EPE (MEANDROS LTD), EL
Meandros Ltd. is an organization from Athens, Greece that has a long tradition in developing educational materials for students of all ages, publishing books and digital materials and has participated successfully to many European projects such as Socrates, Lifelong Learning programmes, Erasmus+ as coordinator or partner. The institution collaborates with schools
and universities all over Greece and organises educational seminars, events and lectures for students, athletes, professionals etc. Meandros Ltd. is in constant collaboration with teachers and experts from different scientific fields. SPORTS section: The institution has organized several sports events for sports organizations providing educational material for athletes/teachers/coaches and was selected by the NGO of the Greek Ministry of Education, Religion and Sports as a collaborator to a very large event with thousands of visitors from all over the world that took place one year after the Athens 2004 Olympic games in the Olympic stadium premises named "Open Stadiums- Places of Celebration- A way of Life". The big event was an exhibition of Athens 2004 best moments including many sports activities. Meandros was responsible for the organization of 10 kiosks
related to 10 major Olympic Sports, provide educational and photographic material related to
those sports with a great impact on the thousands of local and international visitors.
The institution has a large experience in cooperation with other institutions at national and transnational level, and collaborates with a large private School of all levels of education (2000 students) and with a Football association "Doxa Anoixis" from the area of Attiki.
Also, the institution owns a powerful dissemination tool, an online Newspaper named NONPAPERNEWS.GR (www.nonpapernews.gr) that includes a SPORTS NEWS section and has
large accessibility not only from Greece, but from all over Europe and US and can be used for the promotion of the project’s outputs.
Meandros has experience in multilateral projects and has coordinated five successful projects funded by the European Commission. APPLE project has received the European language Label (2007) award from the Romanian Government and was included within the "European Success Stories" (2009) of the EC and INCA project has received a high score of 9/10 for its
final report and was included in the list of top projects for its dissemination activities. “First steps in DE, IT and EL” was also a successful Grundtvig project for immigrants. SERLET in 2016 was high quality project for promoting regional languages. Meandros is now a partner to two innovative ongoing Erasmus+ sport projects that will be completed within 2022.
Meandros will offer to the project its expertise in the development of educational and digital materials and will be responsible for the design and development of the project's promotional website and E-Platform as well as for the educational material of e-modules and for the apps.
P3- CENTRO UNIVERSITARIO SPORTIVO - CUS PADOVA - Associazione Sportiva Dilettantistica, IT
CUS Padova is the Sport Association of the University of Padova. Since 1946, CUS Padova has been promoting sport activities as essential cultural and educational means for students, trainers and university staff to develop transversal and integrated skills and CUS has been supporting the practice and the diffusion of physical education as part of amateur sports.
In the development of its activities, CUS Padova benefits from the sponsorship of several University Departments and works within the following networks: CUSI (Italian University Sports Centre); FISU (International University Sports Federation) and EUSA (European University Sports Association).
CUS Padova is one of the best-structured sport organizations of the territory with 5.000 members enrolled, of which 900 athletes, 1.400 students playing amateur sports and several people playing a variety of leisure activities. CUS Padova manages two sport facilities with fifteen sections of competitive sports: Athletics, Rugby, Field hockey, Fencing, Greco-roman
wrestling, Judo, Cross-country skiing, Female futsal, Volleyball, Tennis, Table Tennis, Triathlon, Ultimate Frisbee, Basketball and Wheelchair basketball.
CUS Padova fosters children, youth and adult education through cultural courses. It supplies
services for schools, implementing at the local level research and training programmes to develop active citizenship and leadership of young people. It organises socio-cultural initiatives and leisure activities in favour of the shareholders, members and participants enrolled. It carries out training projects for technicians, sport managers and students as well
as for disadvantaged people. CUS Padova especially organises adapted sport activities for people with disabilities: the first University Italian wheelchair basketball team plays here.
Finally, CUS Padova supports training of trainers’ programmes for social inclusion of people with special needs, like courses for Sports Instructors for disabled people. Since 1988, CUS Padova has been promoting international and national events of amateur and competitive sport and, in its sports facilities, European and International students’ exchanges take place every year. Sport events are also the occasion to raise awareness on the importance of health enhancing physical activity and correct lifestyles, particularly among young people.
In 2014, CUS Padova started working within the Erasmus+ Programme, especially in the field of youth and sport. This new experience gave it the opportunity to get in contact with many European organisations working in the same field of interest and to start new and fruitful collaborations. Particularly, thanks to European funding, CUS Padova gained a significant
experience in the field of physical activity adapted to the needs of disabled people and, thus, it keeps on working and promoting adapted sports as a tool for physical and mental wellbeing of people with disabilities. Further to several European cooperation projects, CUS Padova has just successfully closed two European funded projects in the role of Coordinator: Sport Opens School project, aimed at providing high school physical education teachers with an innovative
teaching module that increases adolescents’ participation in sport, educates them to fair-play
and integrity and provide students with life and employability skills; and EN ROUTE project,
with the aim of spreading the knowledge and the sharing of skills in the Sport and Tourism sectors, promoting the transparency of qualifications as a condition for their certification at European level.
P4- ZAJEDNICA SPORTSKIH UDRUGA GRADA RIJEKE “RIJEČKI SPORTSKI SAVEZ”
(Rijeka Sport’s Association)/RSS
Rijeka Sport’s Association (RSS) is allying all sporting clubs within the City of Rijeka, and in accordance with art.48 of Sports Act, is the promoter of the Program of public sports cofunded by the City of Rijeka. The Association's members are sport athletes representing almost every kind of sport. Rijeka Sport Association assembles 182 sports clubs with approx.,
18.000 active athletes of different age, out of which 9,500 registered or unregistered sports club members and over 5,000 students and recreative users. Apart from these sports clubs - members of Rijeka Sporting Association, there are around 50 other active clubs in Rijeka.
RSS is a non-profit community of sports clubs and associations of the City of Rijeka whose goal is to contribute to the development and promotion of sports, encourage top creativity and create conditions for achieving top sports, development of sports activities for children and youth, sports and recreational activities of citizens and people with disabilities, promoting the educational functions of sports, fair play, tolerance and responsibility through playing sports and spreading Olympic ideals and strengthening the Olympic movement.
RSS is an umbrella organization that unites all sports clubs of the City of Rijeka, and the main tasks are the following: coordinate the activities of its members (sports clubs), promote and encourage sports following the National Sports Program - especially sports for children, youth and students, perform tasks in the implementation of the National Sports Program - i.e. the annual program of implementation of the National Sports Program, unite and harmonize sports activities and prepare a proposal of the program of public needs in sports and care for its realization submitting reports on program implementation, care for top athletes and participates in creating conditions for their preparation for the Olympic Games, world and European championships, other international competitions, participate in creating conditions
for the implementation of health care for athletes, participate in the implementation of programs and policies of the Croatian Olympic Committee, Croatian Paralympic Committee and Croatian Sports Association of the Deaf.
Rijeka Sports Association has initiated the development of the Strategy of sport for a period
2021 -2027, and set following goals:
-Improving functioning of competitive sport conducted by sport clubs through predefined
fixed co-funding that allows programmed activities in accordance with international and national regulations in order to achieve top athletic performance.
- Preparation and implementation of activities related to technical committees, Sports Associations of Rijeka Executive Board and Assembly
-Cooperation with the Municipality of Rijeka, its departments and particularly its Department for sports and technical culture
- Cooperation with Croatian Olympic Committee and Croatian Paralympic Committee
- Cooperation with the Ministry of science, education and sports
- Cooperation with other institutions, Clubs and sports organizations
- Program follow-up and co-funding of preparatory activities for Olympic and Paralympic candidates for Olympic and Paralympic Games
- EU projects preparation and management.
P5- Associação de Futebol de Bragança (Bragança Football Association), PT
The Associação de Futebol de Bragança (Bragança Football Association) is a sports organization responsible for the management and development of Football, Futsal and Beach Soccer in the Northeast region of Portugal.
The Bragança Football Association is an active member of the Portuguese Football Federation
and works directly with 37 football and futsal clubs, more than 2300 players, more than 60 referees, 20 competitions and 12 municipalities.
Bragança Football Association has a great interest in issues related to health and fitness of the local community and aims to contribute and assist stakeholders in the development of sport for all.
The Football Association has participated up to now to three Erasmus+ Sport projects and has also a large experience from the participation to National programs.
P6- Asociaţia Copiilor si Tinerilor Diabetici Mureş (Association for Children and Youth with Diabetes -Mureş)- ASCOTID, RO
The Association was founded in 2006 by a group of parents aiming to bring great changes in the lives of families with children and young people diagnosed with diabetes, to advocate and fight for their rights, to have access at right treatments and to improve the quality of life of the patients and of their families, and has a humanitarian and charitable character.
The association has now more than 500 active members and its objectives are to represent the interests of its members in addition to the medical structures involved in the treatment of diabetes, to dialogue with the legislative authorities for the improvement of normative acts, to provide specialized support and assistance, to grant material aid, to organize camps and excursions, to publish information and educational materials, to collaborate with associations and foundations from the country and abroad. Also among the association's initiatives are: to
advice children and their parents at the beginning of the disease, to create support groups, consisting of parents, young people with experience in diabetes, doctors and students, to organize medical lessons, together with diabetologists, to deepen the knowledge regarding the importance of the specific diet, the correct administration of insulin, the practice of
sports, etc. The association is in constant collaboration with the doctors of the National Diabetes Center and with the Mureş County and County Emergency Hospitals.
The association is raising public awareness for improving the quality of life of diabetic children
by participating to radio and TV shows, initiating the steps at local and central level to specialize pediatricians with competence in diabetes, establishing the specialization in nutrition and dietetics of general nurses, in the context of improving the quality of health care provided to patients with diabetes.
The Association is organizing the DIABFORUM in collaboration with the University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Tîrgu Mureş and the College of Physicians Mureş with the participation of medical staff, nurses and diabetic patients.
For promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyle to diabetic patients, ASCOTID is also organizing the only sport competition for people with diabetes in Romania, the "ASCOTID TRAIL RACE" sports competition where children and adults with diabetes as well as healthy people run to encourage physical activity in order to prevent type 2 diabetes obesity and the complications from diabetes type 1. In 2019, the 5th edition was attended by 750 runners, this year we want to resume and reach over 1000 runners.
- Also, in August 2022, the Association will organize the 8th edition of the unique project in Romania, called Dia Mount Challenge, with the participation of young diabetics from Romania and other countries of Europe, in partnership with IDF, to encourage them to exceed the limits imposed by the disease. About 25-30 participants will climb on Moldoveanu Peak 2544m altitude, from the Southern Carpathians, the highest peak in Romania.
ASCOTID is collaborating with other NGOs involved in volunteer activities: Rheum Care, Oasis, AISEC, Clever Hands, Pro Karma, Provivere and is a member of the Federation of Diabetic Associations and the Coalition of Patients with Chronic Diseases in Romania.

The company's development team is responsible for a number of seminal projects that have left their mark in the digital landscape of the last 20 years in Greece such as the music portal Jumping Fish by Cosmote, the first website for Onassis SGT, as well as the Athens and

Rijeka Sports Association has initiated the development of the Strategy of sport for a period
2021 -2027, and set following goals:
-Improving functioning of competitive sport conducted by sport clubs through predefined
fixed co-funding that allows programmed activities in accordance with international and national regulations in order to achieve top athletic performance.
- Preparation and implementation of activities related to technical committees, Sports Associations of Rijeka Executive Board and Assembly
-Cooperation with the Municipality of Rijeka, its departments and particularly its Department for sports and technical culture
- Cooperation with Croatian Olympic Committee and Croatian Paralympic Committee
- Cooperation with the Ministry of science, education and sports
- Cooperation with other institutions, Clubs and sports organizations
- Program follow-up and co-funding of preparatory activities for Olympic and Paralympic candidates for Olympic and Paralympic Games
- EU projects preparation and management.

The Associação de Futebol de Bragança (Bragança Football Association) is a sports organization responsible for the management and development of Football, Futsal and Beach Soccer in the Northeast region of Portugal.
The Bragança Football Association is an active member of the Portuguese Football Federation
and works directly with 37 football and futsal clubs, more than 2300 players, more than 60 referees, 20 competitions and 12 municipalities.
Bragança Football Association has a great interest in issues related to health and fitness of the local community and aims to contribute and assist stakeholders in the development of sport for all.
The Football Association has participated up to now to three Erasmus+ Sport projects and has also a large experience from the participation to National programs.
P6- Asociaţia Copiilor si Tinerilor Diabetici Mureş (Association for Children and Youth with Diabetes -Mureş)- ASCOTID, RO
The Association was founded in 2006 by a group of parents aiming to bring great changes in the lives of families with children and young people diagnosed with diabetes, to advocate and fight for their rights, to have access at right treatments and to improve the quality of life of the patients and of their families, and has a humanitarian and charitable character.
The association has now more than 500 active members and its objectives are to represent the interests of its members in addition to the medical structures involved in the treatment of diabetes, to dialogue with the legislative authorities for the improvement of normative acts, to provide specialized support and assistance, to grant material aid, to organize camps and excursions, to publish information and educational materials, to collaborate with associations and foundations from the country and abroad. Also among the association's initiatives are: to
advice children and their parents at the beginning of the disease, to create support groups, consisting of parents, young people with experience in diabetes, doctors and students, to organize medical lessons, together with diabetologists, to deepen the knowledge regarding the importance of the specific diet, the correct administration of insulin, the practice of
sports, etc. The association is in constant collaboration with the doctors of the National Diabetes Center and with the Mureş County and County Emergency Hospitals.
The association is raising public awareness for improving the quality of life of diabetic children
by participating to radio and TV shows, initiating the steps at local and central level to specialize pediatricians with competence in diabetes, establishing the specialization in nutrition and dietetics of general nurses, in the context of improving the quality of health care provided to patients with diabetes.
The Association is organizing the DIABFORUM in collaboration with the University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Tîrgu Mureş and the College of Physicians Mureş with the participation of medical staff, nurses and diabetic patients.
For promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyle to diabetic patients, ASCOTID is also organizing the only sport competition for people with diabetes in Romania, the "ASCOTID TRAIL RACE" sports competition where children and adults with diabetes as well as healthy people run to encourage physical activity in order to prevent type 2 diabetes obesity and the complications from diabetes type 1. In 2019, the 5th edition was attended by 750 runners, this year we want to resume and reach over 1000 runners.
- Also, in August 2022, the Association will organize the 8th edition of the unique project in Romania, called Dia Mount Challenge, with the participation of young diabetics from Romania and other countries of Europe, in partnership with IDF, to encourage them to exceed the limits imposed by the disease. About 25-30 participants will climb on Moldoveanu Peak 2544m altitude, from the Southern Carpathians, the highest peak in Romania.
ASCOTID is collaborating with other NGOs involved in volunteer activities: Rheum Care, Oasis, AISEC, Clever Hands, Pro Karma, Provivere and is a member of the Federation of Diabetic Associations and the Coalition of Patients with Chronic Diseases in Romania.
